Some of our meaningful moments

Stand up, speak out, and act

The Local Loan Company has worked alongside Perth Based Communicare to fundraise for much needed supplies for underprivileged children and their Women’s refuge.

Share the dignity

Share the Dignity

As a part of our inaugural Positively You Workshop, we introduced Communicare to Share the Dignity. This amazing charitable organisation provides donated females hygiene products to women displaced by violence and abuse.

Positively You

Positively You

Positively You was our premier event in 2017 and its impact has been broader and more unifying than we ever imagined. A half day workshop, experts in their field provided strategies for a positive mind, body and finances. We worked with Communicare and raised an amazing amount to donate to their womens refuge. The money was able to provide new furniture for the families at the refuge, yoga classes for the women to help them manage their mental health and musical instruments for the children.

Buddy Up Australia

Proud to be supporting Buddy Up Australia, we participated in their fundraising Quiz Night where over $7,000 was raised for this worthy cause, including $1,170 from the auction of a Melbourne Storm jumper provided by us and RedZed Lending. Buddy Up connects Australian current and ex-service personnel to their community through purposeful volunteering, social and physical activities. This includes emergency services and military personnel as well as their immediate families. Whether still serving or transitioning to civilian life, Buddy Up Australia helps provide connection and purpose while making a difference in the local community with like-minded people.
